Skirt for Megan

This is my friend Megan Ham.

Megan and I grew up in the same neighborhood. The first time I met her was at a church activity when I was fourteen and she was barely sixteen. We were asked to go around the room and name our talents. I remember her say that she was really good at shopping. She still is! Megan has always had a really great sense of style. One of her favorite colors is mustard yellow. When I found this fabric at a thrift shop, it instantly reminded me of her. So, I made her this skirt and mailed it to her as a surprise.

Megan writes a blog called The Happy Hour all about her life.

I wish I had your eye and genius for seeing a textile lovely as this and imagining something as wonderful as this skirt. Fabulous! I would totally wear it.
