Art Totes for the UFB

My youngest brother Hershy has a visually impairing eye disease called Keratoconus, and the Utah Foundation for the Blind has been incredibly helpful in assisting him in many aspects of his life. Every year the UFB has a fundraising event where local artists and businesses donate goods to be auctioned off to raise money for the foundation. My mother has been donating hand-made quilts for years. This year I am donating art totes.

I made basic rectangle totes out of a heavy twill cotton, then I stenciled different Goalball images on each one. Goalball is a sport for blind or visually impaired people. My brother competes in tournaments regularly and he absolutely loves it; that's why I chose it  for my subject. A few of the images are actually my brother.

very cool. they'll fly out of the auction. I thought that first one looked like Hersch.
