Party Skirt

This skirt started with this amazing circle-pull zipper I found at a thrift shop. The next thing that happened, was that the only yellow fabric I had in my studio was this sheer polyester. This zipper and this fabric were a match made in heaven!

Modeled by Erica.
The Party Skirt is available here. (Pictured with the Angel Top).

I'm so envious of the nifty things you and your sister discover in thrift stores. I don't get out to them much, but all we have here are Goodwill (love it for the kids' clothes and refashioning purposes) and antique stores (WAAAAY overpriced). I LOVE that zipper.

Great use of the zipper! Sad I didn't win a giveaway prize. :)

Yep.It's similar to a circle skirt, more like an oval though.
