Our local grocery store Macey's is hosting a gingerbread house competition. I've never actually made a gingerbread house before. The closest I came was gluing graham crackers on a milk carton in fourth grade, and then eating the candy instead of gluing it on the graham cracker. I thought building a big gingerbread house seemed like something fun to do. It was fun, probably a little more frustrating than fun, because my imagination moves more quickly than my skill. Considering that I dropped every piece on the floor at least twice and I broke three of the walls accidentally, I'd say the whole thing came together alright.
