Mrs. Smith Dress

About a year ago, my husband and I watched the 1941 version of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I don't remember a lot about the movie, but I do remember the details in the costuming sent my head spinning.

There is a scene when Carole Lombard is wearing a really high-waisted skirt and a ruffled blouse poking out the top of her blazer. I just loved the way it looked and thought it would be great to have a one-piece dress that looked similar. Here's the Mrs. Smith Dress. It is made with vintage fabric (top and bottom).

Modeled by Nicki.
The Mrs. Smith Dress is available here.

That's really pretty. I love the feminine ruffles on the front, and the sleeves are really pretty too.
