Happy Holidays Giveaway!

CLOSED

First. Today I am the featured member on BurdaStyle! I'm so excited about it. Check it out.
__________________________________________________________________________
I've been collecting vintage jewelry since I was fifteen. As an adult, I only have about five pieces of jewelry that I wear regularly. I decided there's no sense in letting such beautiful pieces live in a box, when they could be worn proudly to so many parties this holiday season! So, here we go, Happy Holidays!

There are five different sets that are available. Each piece has been examined by Scott Kelly, owner of Kelly Jewelers. (He also happens to be my dad).

To enter to win:
1. Leave a comment saying which two sets you admire the most.
 2. If you like vintage jewelry, your friends probably do too. Invite someone to the Holiday Giveaway! (Not required, but it would be nice!)

Five winners will be chosen Friday December 16.

Queen Necklace
1950's

Lynette, I love everything about this post! I love the intro you've written. I love the photos you've taken. It all looks as classy as can be. As for my two favorite sets, I'd have to say the graduated pearls or the princess necklace and bracelet. Absolutely gorgeous. Just like you.

I love the Graduated Pearls and New Years Earrings! I imagine myself wearing them with my hair up in a loose bun, with a sparkly top and wide-legged pants. I have a sparkly sweater that I've been wearing every New Year's Eve since 2005. That's the great thing about timeless pieces; they only become more loved with age.

    Cheers!

Congrats on being featured over at Burda! And what a fun giveaway.

I love all your vintage jewelry, but I'd pick the pearls, hands down.

Also love the NY Earrings. I never put enough sparkle on, and those seem like they'd do the trick.

Checked out the Burdastyle article and it was nice to learn more about you. I think my favorite two have to be the graduated pearls and the princess necklace and bracelet sets. They seem to exude elegance for everyday without being over the top. Hope they find good homes wherever, thanks for chance to be involved.

Goodness! Since moving to New York City last year, I think that my taste has changed a little and in paying an exorbitant amount for rent our finances have changed a lot. :) I've seen a lot of your work and you have beautiful taste. And these pieces are timeless which make it hard to pick favorites, but for me the Pearls take the cake as they remind me of my beautiful and classy grandmother. Next would be the Dangling Necklace and Earings which I could see me wearing every time we scrounge up enough money to go out here. Lovely!

Wow! Love it! I think my favorite is the Princess Necklace and Bracelet. I love that's it's simple yet classy. The Dangling Necklace and Earrings just looks like fun! You could dress it up or dress it down which means you can wear it all the time. I love that!

LadyDanburry, I was fascinated by your name so I read your featured article. I found it quite absorbing and thought the photographs were inspirational. I was happy to read more about you and went to your favourites then decided to carry on to your blog. This is most unusual for me, I might add, although I have been a member of the Burda site for some years now. I live in Australia and enjoy reading about people in different parts of the world. Today I'm about to finish a window covering for my friend, made in the stained glass window tradition and as it's for her ensuite (Shower& toilet in Oz) I call it toilart with a French accent 'Twalart'then I'm doing some really essential sewing and making my husband some new tracky- daks (local term for tack suit pants) although these are made from a lightweight unknown knit fabric from the specials bin at Lyncraft. He does a lot of gardening so along with a very original veil for beekeeping, embroidered with bees on my VERY NEWLY ACQUIRED embroidery machine.... he's getting gardening pants for Christmas. After that I am going to make my son a white dress shirt for Xmas. He's always decried home made but this year who knows?
Being an older English Rose myself, I do like the New York Earrings and the princess bracelet. (I'm English and my surname is Rose) and my first name would combine to make me an English princess who once was second in line to a throne.
